Weald Property Management was established 1985 by Jill Despic. Alex Hill is currently the Managing Director and the majority shareholder.

Alex Hill (BA Hons) has been involved in the South East property market for over 10 years having previously worked at a London based marketing agency, brand building for blue chip clients such as L’Oreal and Armani. From 2003, he successfully ran a large residential letting and management portfolio for 3 years for a highly respected local firm of Chartered Surveyors, BTF Partnership run by Michael Bax FRICS FAAV (High Sheriff of Kent in 2012) based at Challock, near Canterbury and latterly he was Branch Manager for a well known National Chain of Estate Agents, Humberts, heading up their Weald of Kent office.

Alex finally took the helm at Weald Property Management in Benenden in 2006 and in 2008 he successfully purchased the business. He continues to oversee the day to day running of the ever expanding residential letting portfolio and has worked under the stringent RICS guidelines since 2003. Alex completed ARLA‘s legal training module in 2007 and continues to update his ARLA qualifications as a matter of course given the constant changes in Letting legislation.

Shelley Wills – Property Manager, who has lived in East Sussex for over 30 years and has an expert knowledge of the area. Shelley has 10 years experience in the Lettings industry, latterly with a National chain based in Heathfield and has completed the NFOPP diploma in Property Management. She also oversees all pre and post tenancy cleans and is able to provide a detailed report on preparing your property for letting.

Nicola Buckley (BA Hons) – Letting Negotiator. Nicola has recently joined the team from a local Agent in Staplehurst and has lived near Cranbrook all her life, giving her invaluable local knowledge.

Catherine Berkeley – Property Management, Viewings and Garden Designer. Catherine is from Ewhust Green, East Sussex, where she has lived for 17 years running a successful landscape Design Company, Willow Gardens – she can offer advice on all aspects of garden design and maintenance.
